When we bought his place everything was a bisque color and it drove me nuts. I've been able to change some things over time, but one thing that I couldn't stand was the shutters on the front of my house. So one day I said exasperated, "That's it!" and I bought some white spray paint. Now I actually enjoy driving up to my house and seeing the bright white shutters.
